President's Message
Different Batches. One Heartbeat. Limitless Possibilities.
Dear Nopanians,
Some introductions need a visiting card. Ours needs just one word: Nopanian.
That word carries school memories, familiar faces, lessons from our teachers and friendships that pick up exactly where they left off—even decades later. It connects people who may never have shared a classroom, yet instantly find something in common.
That is the power of NAA. And that is the power I want us to put into action.
I step into the Presidency for 2026–27 with gratitude for your trust, affection for our school and tremendous excitement about what we can achieve together. Having served as Trustee, Treasurer and Secretary, I have experienced the work behind our celebrations and the generosity of members who quietly make things happen.
Now, I want more Nopanians to experience the joy of building something together.
Imagine a young member finding a mentor within our alumni family. An entrepreneur making a valuable connection. A senior sharing experience that changes someone’s direction. A member arriving alone at an event and leaving with friendships across five different batches.
These are the moments I want us to multiply.
My vision is an NAA that stays alive in our lives throughout the year—on the playing field, at a cultural celebration, through a learning opportunity and whenever a fellow member needs support.
We have experience worth sharing, talent worth discovering and ideas worth pursuing. Let us bring them into the open. Let us create more opportunities for members to lead, collaborate and contribute. Let us give younger Nopanians the confidence to step forward and our seniors more reasons to remain closely involved.
At the heart of this journey is a promise:
Every member matters.
These words place a responsibility on me and our team. To listen. To respond thoughtfully. To welcome fresh ideas and different perspectives. To ensure that belonging to NAA feels meaningful, whichever batch you come from and wherever life has taken you.
My enthusiasm for technology and artificial intelligence comes with a practical purpose: helping people connect, learn and work better. I want to bring that spirit to NAA through easier participation, stronger communication and opportunities to explore the skills shaping our future. Sound financial discipline, transparent processes and well-preserved records will help us build with confidence and continuity.
We also carry a responsibility towards the school and teachers who shaped us. Our progress should honour those roots through gratitude, continued engagement and service to the wider community.
Join hands. Bring your ideas. Help shape what comes next.
I invite every Nopanian to contribute your time, talent, experience and enthusiasm. Whether you have a fresh idea, a suggestion, honest feedback, a concern or an initiative you would like to lead, please reach out to me directly. You do not need a committee position to contribute; being a Nopanian is invitation enough.
Every member’s voice matters. I look forward to hearing yours and working together to turn our shared aspirations into action.
I thank our founders, past leaders and volunteers for giving us a foundation worthy of ambition. Together with our Board, Office Bearers and Core Committee, I am ready to give this responsibility my time, energy and wholehearted commitment.
Let us make this a year when more Nopanians say: “I helped make that happen.”
With warmth, purpose and energy,
CA Shyam Agarwal
